Can't make my mind up about NP. On the one hand it is a technology we will need in the not too distant future. On the other, it seems almost impossible to safely get rid of the waste.

I saw a smart idea on telly last night where Iceland powers itself using natural thermal springs. Very clean and natural.

This is happening all over the Northern hemisphere, albeit on a smaller scale than we'll see in Northern Japan.

Despite knowing the radiation would bioaccumulate and makes its way into the food chain, the Japanese authorities still failed to stop beef tainted with high levels of radioactivity going on sale for public consumption.
