I hope we are looking for this years "Benjamin Mendy" someone that no one has heard of like Mendy this time last year that will break through, I think the LB at Nice (Delbert) could be that player
We let 3 completely finished ones leave on frees and rightly so. Just because you're panicking, doesn't mean the club is. We could randomly pick any 3 fullbacks out of any of the top 5 leagues and end up with better ones than the 3 we let go.Absolutely insane that we have off loaded 3

All this panicking over our backup RB, it's bizarre. Walker and Mendy are our first choices and they are the important ones, frankly we just need anyone with a bit of energy and the ability to stay fit to be our backups and they'd be an improvement over what we had

Walker was always going to cost us silly money.
The difference is, now the back-up option is going to cost a few million more than their worth, too.

We should never have been in that position in the first place. Shows poor planning from the club. How often do clubs offload all their full-backs in 1 summer? Never.....expect us.
Better yet...how many clubs want to sign 4 full-backs in one summer?
