Geldof being sued by keyboard player over I Don't Like Mondays

As in all of these cases, the legal bods will be the only winner.
Wasn't it the Moody Blues in court a few years back over someone claiming they wrote the intro to Wider Shade of Pale and not Justin Heyward?
Fingers claimed he was told he'd be sorted financially - and as with The Smiths, nothing was written down..... so will be a tough case to win.
Intro to whiter shade of pale was basically a piece by Bach called air on a g string

I don't like Mondays is shite and Geldof is a fucking ****. I hope it bankrupts him the smarmy twat.

Why is it always takes 30 years for these people to decide to sue? A mate of mine ( the guy who designed wipeout on Playstation ) just had some random bod try to get money out of him cos he claims 1 of the sceneary parts on 1 of the tracks looked like some of his art...... from 20 years ago!.

I never understood how he wasn't sued by Simple Minds when he had a hit with 'this is the world calling' - it was very similar to 'alive and kicking'. Mind u, in those days (late 80's) it was probably against the law to criticise Bobby.
