Marlos Moreno getting any minutes? Haven't heard much about him since we signed him. Remember he had quite a name building though. Some at the time had him in gabriel Jesus's bracket

Marlos scored 2 goals in a friendly played during int. break.

0-2 already. Some changes are obviously needed, either in personnell or tactics. The team leaks goals too easily. And have no idea why Machin doesn't play Douglas Luiz more often, he's class.

1-2 now. This is one of the best trainers we could have. Basically Luiz doesn't play because midfield is the most covered position we have.

We simply aren't good enough. No surprise there, I had predicted a 18 place for this year, and nothing I am seeing is going to change my opinion.

Trying to play the right way which is great to see, opportunities from a City perspective for our youngsters as well but they really need to shore up the defence.

Just watched the last 15mins and Maffeo looks great, all action RB and puts a great shift in. Has shades of Zaba from a few years back, willing to do the dirty work but has the technical ability. Would be awesome to see him rotate with Walker.

IMO, he's nowhere near City standard right now - reliable defensively but offers almost nothing going forward. Girona's LWB Aday was much more impressive attacking-wise this season. Selling Maffeo with a buy-back clause should be considered, heard Valencia are interested.

Basic stats are showing that Girona aren't as bad as it seems. Need to be more clinical to become 'luckier' on the 1st graph. The quality of forwards is what lets Girona down, do you agree @Afganitia ?

Having watched some of the first half of that game,I would agree. He has improved greatly,he was getting forward well and his reading of the game is good,he's never been shy of getting stuck in.Maffeo has a bright future.
