He has come on leaps and bounds this season, with a Torino side that was expected to struggle without Cerci and Immobile. He has become a real talismanic figure for the club and guided them to first win over Juventus in years; would I have him at City? Probably, but for what we need to do in the summer and the fee Torino would probably want it isn't worth it with people like Denayer coming through.

Not exactly, Savic was an unproven rookie whereas Glik has been around for ages now. Savic is now quite highly rated on the continent, but he was one of our boo boys and wasn't going to get another chance after his early mistakes. He probably wasn't good enough for us, but I don't think he got a fair crack with us.
