Alcohol free "spirits" are great, you don't have to buy them, nobody is taking your hard gin away but it gives people who don't drink a grown up option when out in bars and at parties, sitting around a group of friends sipping coke or some other overly sweet drink is infantilizing

Being someone who has recently given stopping drinking a go (11th weekend this weekend) I find the non alcoholic alternatives a really big help.

I'm not a fan of gin but it's still a decent option for those that are.

I was on a beavertown 0.3% last night. Think it was called laser something. It was quite nice. Better than the Peroni 0% at the Etihad anyway.
