Looking at photographing some equipment for sale on line. How do I reduce the resolution on the phone in order to post on line, some platforms tell me it's to large....struggling to work it out...any help !!

If you have Twitter (X) or Instagram,you might be able to upload the picture to a new post and save it as a draft and then copy the picture back to your phone from there. I know Instagram/Twitter automatically reduce the file size of uploaded pictures.Looking at photographing some equipment for sale on line. Or just use some online app like 'TinyPic' where you can reduce your pics resolution.

Open yer camera and them numbers at the top that say mp next to them, click on that and reduce the number

Take a picture of the item
Open the image in the Gallery app on your phone
At the bottom there are several icons, one of which looks like a pencil
Click on that and the screen changes
There are three dots at the top right
Click on those and it gives you the option to resize
Click on that and reduce the image to either 40% or 20% and then click "done"
You now owe me a beer

Oh thank you thank you thank you....I've trying to work out what I did last time and bingo.............that's it.Take a picture of the item
