HIGNFY

I really like the show, but it's at its best when there's some genuine satire going on. Sometimes, there's a bit too much focus on party politics and individual politicians doing stupid things, rather than the big issues. Like when they spent all of last week talking about some letters falling off a sign and Theresa May coughing, rather than addressing the situation in Spain for example.

I watched an interview with Frankie Boyle about Mock the Week where he said that one of the reasons he left was because he was being prevented from talking about the really big issues like the situation in Gaza, and instead had to do bullshit about the Olympics for 12 weeks in a row. I feel like HIGNFY has gone the same way somewhat.
