My first game, makes a league match with Southampton seem positively exotic!

I'll bet there are a fair few Bluemoon members who haven't got a clue what the Full Members Cup actually was!

I went to away games in that comp at Hull Sheff U Sheff W and Blackburn i think.

1st match was in 65-66 season , we won old 2nd division , so one of the original glory hunters , no idea how many games ive attended , averaged 15-20 games a season , and visited over 40 away grounds , so approximately 800 games at a guess , its my 50th season watching the blues next season , can i have a champs league victory to mark the occasion :)

You and me both Jimmy

Do you still see any of the mates you used to go with?

I haven't seen mine for years and haven't been able to track them down

Would be good if I could find them to celebrate 50 years though

Always thought it odd that my first game at Maine Road and last were against the same opponents.

I'd estimate around 600-700 over the last 35 years. It's safe to say I'm reasonably familiar with the Woodhead, Snake and Winnats Pass. Winnats in the snow is my particular favourite!

7

Sunderland 1 Man City 1
Man City 3 Sunderland 2 ( we were relegated)
Man City 4 Sunderland 2
Sunderland 3 Man City 1 first league game at Stadium of Light
Man City 3 Sunderland 3
Man City 4 West Brom 0 ( the night the rags lost 0-1 at Wigan)
Cup final Man City 3 Sunderland 1 (jammy bastards ;-))

Twice, 1st time when we won the league on the last day in 2012, 2nd when we won the league on the last day in 2014, I'm just a glory hunting bastard...
