How much does ...

Hard to say - how do you value a player bought 10 years ago? Index link his cost, calculate it as either a percentage of PL winners prizemoney or how much they get from Sky?

No way you can call it.

Think its about 30m difference if we take into account both teams best 11.
but what would camel gob be given the inflation of the pound and the inflation within football?

Well I look at a player like Rooney who was hyped as much as Bale and see that he would cost about 40m in the market today.

Well deflation really mate. He's old, shit and injured, so he's not exactly worth 30m now is he.

Im sure in time someone will put the links on here to all the transfer fees paid, and the blogs about United spending for 20 years.
