my take;

injured = Stones
not ready = Haaland, Doku, KdB (the latter might get minutes)
away = Rodri
ill = Silva, Phillips, Nunes, Carson

------------ Ortega ------------
Walker --- Dias --- Akanji --- Gomez
----------- Lewis --- Kovacic----------
Hamilton --- Foden --- Bobb --- Grealish
-------------- Alvarez-----------------

Ederson, Ake, Gvardiol, De Bruyne, Haaland, some others.

the problem actually lies centrally, with Rodri, Nunes, Phillips and Silva all out.
If we play that line up we will be kicked out of the fa cup

Fuck it, throw one more in the team and we can play them at rugby league

You could bring in Ake or Gvaridol and play Akanji in midfield
Bobb would miss out ?

Pep will go with his strongest available team , injuries/illness etc will obviously determine the line-up but he gives the FA Cup the utmost respect compared to some teams , just dont see him resting players who are fully match fit and available , apart from Ortega who has always been our "cup" goalie.

The absentee count makes predicting the starting selection pretty straightforward with Gvardiol subbed on at half time
Stefan Ortega;
Kyle Walker, Manuel Akanji, Rúben Dias, Nathan Aké;
Rico Lewis, Mateo Kovačić, Phil Foden;
Oscar Bobb, Julián Álvarez (F/L), Jack Grealish:

Bench: Ederson, Joško Gvardiol, Sergio Gómez, Kevin de Bruyne, Micah Hamilton, Mahamadou Suhoso, Max Alleyne +??

City win 4-0

I agree, we’ve not played midweek and we don’t have a game for another week and then 2 weeks off, why wouldnt we go strong.
