If Mancini was here, we would be...

Doing better than we are.the team might have been annoyed by his yelling and jumping about but i believe he really drove them on during a game,he never let them rest unlike now when they get little guidance and encouragement

A bit of a myth that IMHO; he spent plenty of time stood / sat there with his trap shut

Of waving to the crowds who lovingly sang his name

Haha. Already forgotten the FA cup final have we? We were schooled that day and Mancini didn't know which way was up.

Not to mention his inability to adapt in Europe, or away at Stoke, Sunderland or Everton.

Which game was it where he took Tevez off and put Lescott on as striker? I forget. But no, you're right, our lord and saviour Bobby was tactically imperious.

You mean that cup final where he already knew he was going to be sacked? That cup final where he was given no alternative but to play our second-choice keeper?

Mancini = Champion

Pellegrini = Chump

Top of the league with the very different looking squad (had he been supported in the market) but out of europe
Javi Garcia (£17m)
Matija Nastasic (£10m)
Jack Rodwell (£12m)
Scott Sinclair (£6m)
Maicon (£3m)
Sergio Aguero (£38m)
Samir Nasri (£24m)
Stefan Savic (£10m)
Gael Clichy (£7m)
Costel Pantilimon (£2m)
Edin Dzeko (£27m)
Yaya Toure (£26m)
Mario Balotelli (£26m)
David Silva (£25m)
James Milner (£20m)
Aleksandr Kolarov (£18m)
Jerome Boateng (£11m)
Adam Johnson (£9m)
Patrick Vieira (Free)

Indeed, if only the owners had let him spend to build his own team.

He was a damn sight more engaged in the game than pellegrini

In exactly the same position, mediocre team with some very talented players, maybe we would have scored a few less and let in a few less. Maybe a few of these overpaid under-performing twunts would not be as happy.

Love it.

C'mon, let's really get this thread going tonight, it's a great and completely irrelevant diversion, and just what the doctor ordered to take the mind off an awful awful day.

It's outrageous though! How dare we not have spent £30,000,000 on De Rossi, £30,000,000 on Hazard and £50,000,000 on Cavani? I don't know how he managed to pick a starting eleven each week with our meager squad.
