The development firm that are buying the land that their current stadium sits on does not want to part with 300 Million Euros until Valencia are ready to move into their new stadium. Their bank has refused them a 100M Euro loan recently due to financial situation.

wasnt it more to do with city unable to buy some of surrounding houses to give city the space to increase the capacity?
