Increasing the profile of a charity

I need to come up with some ideas on how to increase the profile of a national charity that basically pays for disadvantaged/disabled children to visit attractions and theme parks. The charity was founded by an entertainments company and so they have the resources to stage national events and involve the media. I've come up with a few ideas but they seem a bit....boring! If anyone has any creative ideas then I would be very grateful! Thanks!
