Don’t forget the club used to be run by Ferrán and Txiki - who clearly know what they’re doing.Sometimes I wonder if this would have happened sooner if Messi and Pep hadn't landed in their laps. I think those two covered a lot of cracks.

As good as a new signing
Since last summer we have lost:
Fern, Torres, Sterling, Jesus, steffen, mendy
We have so far signed:
Phillips, haaland, Alvarez, Ortega
squad as it stands:
Ederson, ortega
Walker, cancelo
dias, stones
laporte ake
zinchenko
rodri phillips
gundogan kdb
bernardo foden
grealish, mcatee
haaland Alvarez
mahrez Palmer
Can’t help but feel the squad is too small as it stands and doesn’t have the same quality of depth as past seasons. Concerned with the reports from Pol and Sam that cucurella is being put on the back burner to see what happens with ake. We need 4 full backs so surely the ake situation is separate.
Will be pretty frustrated if we neglect the full back position again this summer especially after what happened in the champions league. We have sold Sterling and are seemingly not replacing him so surely that money could be used to sign a full back.
