https://www.joylent.eu from the american version Soylent, is a powder you mix with water to produce a complete nutritionally balanced meal for the lazy. As I am lazy this appeals tremendously - has anyone tried it?

Here are some quotes from the guy that set Joylent up.

I'm trying to upscale it," he told me. "I have all these 25kg bags of maltodextrin, soy flour, fine Scottish oats and shit like that in my bedroom.”

I got robbed of £1,700 worth of cocaine," he told me. "I took a risk to make it back, but I got locked up, lost my house and support from my parents.”

he "liked the drama" of sleeping on the street

His nickname on the Soylent forums is "Hosselman", which is Dutch for "hustle man".

"I think our products are very much alike, but the difference is in the fun. I try to make it tasty. Maybe I'll add some colour in the future. I'm just trying to have some fun with it.”

“I'd like to be a big multinational that's able to duck taxes and pay my own fictional taxes in the form of me giving Joylent to poor countries," Joey told me. "I fantasise about that sometimes.”

Go for it :)

How strange must you be to want to put meal replacement crap into your body? What is wrong with food ffs, food is great. Making a meal or going somewhere to eat and enjoying it is a wonderful thing. This sort of rubbish is fine for malnourished incapable smack heads or hopeless drunks who don't eat, but if you're a normal functioning human being what is wrong with good old food?

The name comes from the S/F movie "Soylent Green".

A dystopian future setting where everybody had to eat Soylent Green, a foodstuff made from

dead bodies.
