Feel for him. He isn’t really responsible for all of this and certainly wouldn’t have wanted to become a laughing stock.
Would not be surprised at all if he was struggling with mental health right now.

Four years left on his contract after this season. He's going to be extremely difficult to move on as the teams that might want him are going to be Championship only and there's no way they will be paying his wages even for a loan. We'll have to keep paying him until his book value reduces substantially and then pay him off to leave.

Either that or we will be paying him until the contract is up. Can’t get them all right, especially if you are looking a capable deputy to a world class Rodri.
