Now there is an idea!

Surely everyone has the right to withdraw their labour if they feel they are being exploited?

Ten quid to put pickles on a burger? Nobody would be bothered to learn a trade and the world will be crying out for welders, carpenters, bricklayers etc.

Give skilled trades £16 an hour. The scandal of being in full time employment and still be below the poverty line is a disgrace.

I have boycotted these slave labour camps for years and I hope the kids get support of the people by them boycotting these profit laden cunts until they pay a living wage.

Does it surprise anyone that McDonalds is a bastard of a company, given the way it was 'formed'?

Perhaps plenty of people find themselves between a rock and a hard place, they want a better job,one with better pay and conditions, but are struggling to find such. So,they choose to work, despite the hardship, rather than opt for the bum route which relies on the state and the contributions of others to fund their existence.

Nice fishing BTW.

The answer is to not work at McDonald's really. A company will pay what it can get away with in the main. Supply and demand is everything and we will always have people struggling to live a lifestyle they think they deserve. We can go down the route of chasing a living wage but it's not the answer.

This and only this. It's called pride and your pint will taste better for it when earned from the sweat of your own brow.
I have no idea how certain healthy individuals make a career choice of sitting at home like non productive vegatables.
We really do need the £10 minimum implementing. If they cannot pay their staff a basic level of pay then they should not be trading.
