I'm guessing the "injuries to police officers" were sprained wrists and toes from headbutts to the baton and boot respectively?
Never followed an Irish club team to a European match in Spain tbf.
Never had Leicester down as loonies
The fact of it is they've gone to one of the great capital cities of the world, insulted the locals about Gibraltar whilst getting obnoxiously pissed up in the city square.
Why oh why does provincial England produce so many pricks like this, they're an embarrassment ?
Cardiff fans can't even behave when they cross the border, doubt they would be much different in Europe.
It's the English mentality. When most people travel abroad they are guests in another country so try to respect their hosts. When some English fans turn up in foreign cites and try to claim sovereignty for England for their duration of their stay it's no wonder the locals get pissed off. Perhaps it's just a legacy of a colonial past
I take it you didn't see the Besiktas fans 'respecting' their French hosts yesterday then? Every team has it's hooligan element, it's just that the English teams tend to travel in greater numbers.
The Irish travel in equally large numbers to away games and yet there is never any trouble.... So why?????
Which Irish teams?
