as in for use on cricket bats...

coincidentally i oiled my bat yesterday with linseed oil i bought 4/5 years ago...cant see anything wrong with it!

Depends.
Are you planning on snorting or intravenous injection?
If its just for your cricket bat,it lasts forever mate.
As a chaser to Special Brew,I would check the "sell by" date.

NO MASTABATION JOKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just once before each season.
As i'm a bowler,bat at number 11,and shouldn't bat at all,this is more than enough attention for the 2 edgy fours I shall score this year.
I don't bother with the middle,as I never use it anyway.
