"The City is ours" mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..Now i may not be the brightest spark in a tin of beans but could that possibly be staged ??

The words 'Manchester is red', 'MUFC' and '34 years' – the latter a reference to the time since City last won a trophy – were plastered on the walls during the early hours of the morning before November's derby match.

I don't fuckin believe it. where's the mention of the word Foe ****?????

Fucking disgraceful paper.

Vandals have daubed the word 'Munich' outside a pub near Manchester United's ground.

The word – believed to be an offensive reference to the Munich air crash of 1958 – was written alongside 'MCFC' and 'the city is ours' on a wall next to the Bishop Blaize on Chester Road.

Similar offensive grafitti was written on a sign outside United's Carrington training ground. It was immiedately removed.

Both attacks happened during the night ahead of the Manchester derby on Saturday.

The latest incidents may have been revenge for a graffiti attack on a pub near Manchester City's ground last year.

Bishop Blaize manager Patrick Egloff, 26, said: “I have been here four-and-half years and this the first time it's happened.

“We've had anti-Glazer graffiti before but nothing like this.

“It's not good. You shouldn't really mention Munich like that.”

Last year offensive graffiti was daubed on to the walls of Mary Ds bar near the City of Manchester stadium - a watering hole for City fans.

The words 'Manchester is red', 'MUFC' and '34 years' – the latter a reference to the time since City last won a trophy – were plastered on the walls during the early hours of the morning before November's derby match.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said the force was aware of the latest incidents.

Eight of the United's 'Busby Babes' and 15 other people died in the Munich air crash.

No one at the club was available for comment today.
I am in no way condoning putting 'Munich' and don't think we should lower ourselves to their standards but FUCK OFF. That's taking the piss they know fully well that they wrote Foe on Mary D's.

YAYYYYYYY 1000th POST!

'The word - believed to be an offensive reference to the Munich air crash of 1958' - no shit sherlock!!!

Fuck me, is that the best the MUEN can do? Journalism really has gone down the drain. They must be handing degrees in journalism out for fuck all nowadays.....

I notice the MEN don't mention the MVF references when talking about the graffiti last year.

this! what a joke that paper is!
Noticed that too.

Again, like others, not condoning the morons who did this, but the MUEN makes out that when the Utd fans did it, it was "tasteful, wholehearted banter. No disrespectful remarks at all!"
