This is from last night - Earps leaving the field in tears. Her England shirt was deemed not worthy of replica's at the last World Cup. They have to do something to protect these ladies - they have gone from playing club games on amateur crappy pitches for a few quid a week to some turning pro and playing at Wembley in a very short space of time - and getting pressure they would never have imagined.

And before people say they should live with it and "man up" look at Owen Farrell this week.

If the women need "protection" as a sportsperson, then they shouldn't play at that level. Pressure IS what happens at top level. There's no special exceptions for women.

ALL sports individuals and within teams have fuck ups and they cry when that happens (some even cash in on it for adverts).

Earps is just one of hundreds it has happened to. She should get the fuck over it when she's ready or let someone else take the Number One whilst she recovers, mentally.
