He has hardly played hence why he was a poor signing. Like Nip said he was brought in for the five at the back formation which we abandoned early in the season. Add to the fact his injury record is terrible.

Played well against Spurs though.

Its been used for short periods in several games, with little success imho, personally I hope its gone for good but I doubt it.

Maicon can and will be used as an attacking full back in games where its required, he's another player written off unnecessarily by some of our fans.

got us back in the game vs liverpool., won it for us against totenham.

Knowing mancini, that formation will be back big time next season.
it our way of obtaining width, and personnaly i am big fan of this idea.
execution and personnal is the only problem at the moment.

with a good transfer window and pre season we will squash the league the league with this formation. Its too sofisticated for 80% of the prem managers.
