The rush to get Aguero and Silva off is quite cute.
One half of not having a huge impact and the sky is falling in for some. Pretty grim reading this thread.

We seem to have over compensated and the defence looks rock-solid.
This is why Sanchez is a must. He takes responsibility and forces packed defences to engage him.
We just want to move the ball on at present and work an opening.
Sanchez has the capacity to take players on.

Think a Yaya or Gundogan would make a world of difference in situations like this. Fern doesnt have that same passing ability. Mendy would help stretch the pitch more than Danilo.
Kev and Silva been slightly off the boil but obviously its the first game of the season. Maybe Silva number 2 will get a chance today.
We made at least two good chances with one which we had to score, few nice build ups that broke down but would like to see quicker passing up front. Not a bad performance so far but just feels its 2nd gear still.
