Probably more to it than a loan. Could be a loan with obligation to buy that we might not be keen on, or more likely, some kind of sweetener from Madrid for Courtois.

Kovacic has that ability to take the ball when surrounded, turn very quickly, and then use his pace over ten yards to break the press and drive upfield. Would give us something different.
