Media Discussion - 2023/24

Just listened to both ESPN and BBC pundits talking about how Ten Hag and United can take positives from this match because it wasn’t the blowout everyone expected and the United players worked as a team to stifle City and keep it close.

Meanwhile, in reality…

Just to highlight, they had 41 clearances. In one game of football. Forty-one. Four one. A clearance nearly every other minute of the match.

If we hadn't have got stung and shook by that freak Rashford goal, we would have scored 5+ today.

That's the narrative for a relegation threatened team ffs. About sums them up these days though lol

Gary Neville has been taken by Ratcliffe cos he’s suddenly stopped criticising them. If he watched that game & thinks the Rags did well then I’ll show my arsenal in the Hotel Football window.

How the fuck can they justify this?
How can they not say it was only poor finishing in the first half & a fluke shot by the worst player on the pitch.

Rashford had a moment but apart from that was a fucking embarrassment. He had the touch of a rapist.

“The touch of a rapist”? Seriously? You’re better than that mate.

It's probably already been covered and afraid I don't know how to link an Instagram video, but just been sent a video of Keane on that chat show he does with Neville etc talking about his red card for the foul against Haaland.

His revisionist history is now that he didn't mean to injure him and players don't get injured from that type of tackle. He got a ban and fine for admitting in his book that he intended to do it. Not one of the other pundits called him out on it, Neville just muttered something about it being a high challenge.

It's a disgrace that Sky give this clown a platform. Delighted to see Erling make them suffer in a derby again.
