I can only say what I said at the time. If Ronaldo hadn't dived because one of our players had dared to go near him, Ball would not have stamped on him. Obviously two wrongs don't make a right but Ronaldo was doing his usual thing and Bally thought he'd teach him a lesson.
Great player Ronaldo but you'd think football was played on the ice the amount of times he goes down.

Surprised he never got another club. He got a lot of slating on here but there are/were a lot worse left backs running around playing then him.
I can only assume it's because of injuries, only wanting a PL club or maybe he was asking for too much money (1 of the 3) because he was certainly good enough to play for a championship club.
