Motorway carnage in Somerset

Up to 30 people have been injured, seven of them seriously, in a crash on the M5 in Somerset involving 26 vehicles. A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "There are reports of between 25 and 30 injuries, 10 are believed to be life changing and it is believed that people have lost their lives."

Jeez, ya really don't know whats around the corner in life :-(

Sad to here,again

The only time i have driven on this Mway it took 3hours to get 5miles due to a crash,it has to be the most dangerous stretches of road in the country

Fucking hell, looks absolutely awful. Thoughts to those involved and their families, sadly sounds like some haven't made it out alive.

Travelled up on the M3 from Southampton to Camberley this morning, shocking weather, couldn't see further than 50 yards in front of me, stretch between Winchester and Basingstoke is two lanes, still had wankers racing up behind doing probably around 90mph, I had slowed to 35/40 and was still overtaking.

Some people just don't know how to drive in adverse weather conditions.

Hope these people will be ok, always bad to see accidents like this, thankfully doesn't happen too often.
