Yes thats true.
Dave lives someone alone on Exmoor,right in the middle of nowhere and he and Ray fell out for many many years.Not certain if the rift is still in place.

Dave is, and possibly always was, a bit of a fruitcake.I saw Ray in a boozer in Muswell Hill a couple of years back! NOT the Clissold Arms, which is a big Kinks memorabilia pub.
