first up i have to admit i bought the sun today..otherwise i would have been 30p short of a pint..anyway..article about spectre in jail and it said he most famously worked with the beatles..did he?..i remember him working with lennon on shaved fish i think but not the beatles

i think he remixed let it be for the beatles after they were unhappy with the first mix
and thats why it is the last album released and not abbey road which was recorded after

Yeah Lennon gave him the Let It Be sessions to work on. McCartney hated the final version hence Let It Be...Naked a few years back which is Let It Be minus Spector and his arrangements etc.

Also the reason why Let It Be was the final Beatles album despite Abbey Road being there last recorded work, as someone else pointed out.
