Met him a good few years back at a service station on the m40 while he was coaching at pompey, I think it was under Alan Ball. Real nice guy. Good memories of his time at city, old head guiding the youth, clapping the kippax when we shouted 'man on' and his outside of the boot curler at birmingham in 89. All the best Neil and family.

Was behind the goal at Fulham half a life time ago when he scored a cracker, we were 5 nil down at the time. Hope he makes a good recovery, not seen a great deal of him since he left the club.
