Easy one this week. Akanji and Kovacic both excellent too. Kyle had a good game but frustrated watching him put the brakes on when he should be able to blow past the last man on the wing.

That was an absolutely fantastic performance. Some might say only one nil but so many really good performances. Obviously Phil was fantastic. Kovacic is looking like a real steel from Chelsea. The new lad at left back did really well. Great finish from Álvarez. Walker excellent. And just bossed the game. Largely tight at the back. And all this when we’re still getting into our stride and missing some key buyers. Well done boys.

The game reminded me a lot of the 1-0 win we got against them at Maine Rd when Keegan was in charge.
Absolutely battered them that day playing some wonderful football just like yesterday.
