Night out in London

Me and some other lads are staying over on the Saturday night when we go down to Wembley and it'll be my first time going for a night out in London (i'll be 19 by mid April).

I'm going to see a smiths tribute band at half moon pub in Putney but I haven't got a clue what to do after that. I'd like to go clubbing and we all like the following kind music: the courteeners, arctic monkeys, the smiths, stone roses, the jam, the clash... You get the picture.

I've done some extensive internet research about it but the descriptions of the nightclubs that I have seen are vague at best.

So, by any chance does anyone have any tips as to what to do?

I'm off to London on Saturday for a night out. Heading to the nightclub fabric I think, start off around covent garden first though. Shoreditch is meant to be good, anyone been there?
