Does anyone know how to jailbreak one? I've heard that there is a program called home brew but not sure how to go about it?

Any help much appreciated oh dear old cellar dwellers.

Go here. First you'll have to do this bannerbomb which will allow you to run hombrew. It should install hackmii and hombrew channel.

Then I suggest you use Pimp my wii:

spot on matey
but first find what firmware the wii is running 4.2/4.3 then get a good sd card 2gid
its all done on the sd card that you put on the sotfmod software from the computer

and also you will need a harddrive to use usb loader and put roms on also wadmanager to format the harddrive its the best way to use the wii and you can get a good 500gig usb harddrive from mirco direct for £40

i did my from youtube and its easy if you get the software from the youtube info tab
 
HDD can be in FAT32 or NTFS format now if you planned on using it for the USB loader.

I'd forgot about the WADManager.

If you look on this site you'll find alot of homebrew programs (wadmanagers etc)

Cannot get this to work, at all wonder is it has anything to do with the fact that I am trying to us a 4gd hdc the wii is not having it at all. When I open the SDHC its got nothing in it.

I've not got a reader so I am using my camera to transfer the file and I am formatting the card on my laptop but its not having it at all.
 
think it is sd 2gig max only on the wii

i used letterbomb or something like thats but you need the homebrew channel first
then i clean my sd card and droped all the folders from the software on the pc to the sd card but it back in the wii and run it from there

Everything You Need to Know - Absolutely Everything for those people who want to know every possible detail.
Hacking Any Nintendo Wii 4.3 Without a Game - Homebrew Channel, Bootmii, All Important Applications along with Hacking and Getting Wii Games Too!
Any Wiis will work for the Letterbomb hack

What you need:
1) Nintendo Wii 4.3 and Wii Remote (Do not attach the nunchuk to the Wii Remote) (you may also bring along a GameCube Controller)
2) Computer or Laptop with at least 2 gb of free space and internet access (Preferably Personal Computer)
3) SD Card or SDHC Card ( Any size preferably 1gb or more)

Check Both Lists! ! !
SD Card for HackMii Installer and Homebrew Channel Compatibility List:

3. Download & Extract LetterBomb
4. Copy boot.elf & private folder to the SD Card
5. Insert the SD Card into Wii
6. Go to the Wii Message Board, Go to yesterday
7. Select LetterBomb
Hackmii Installer Loads

Install The HomeBrew Channel and BootMii
1. Press 1
2. Install the HomeBrew Channel
3. Install Bootmii

My Bootmii Backup files:
These files are used with bootmii to back up my Nintendo Wii to its factory conditions. Although I believe that it will not work with other wiis, a user wanted me to sincerely put it online for download.

Still not f*ckin I've just bought a 2gb sd card and usb hopefully that should do the trick.
