Are the concrete cores just under 10 stories highs, with the 2 claws and the dog leg part of the hotel being 10 stories high? I can't remember exactly.

Pretty much, yeah. 9 storeys but the first two levels are the height of 3 storeys between them so pretty much 10 all in. A bawhair under 35m in actual height, for the core.

Looking at the plans for City Hall / black box today, it's clear that we want to be opening a 7 day a week venue they are planning for everything from fashion shows to convention centre events, what stuck out to me was on match day they plan to have the space open so City Square flows straight in to the hall / box.
