Imagine the outrage if we'd done this sort of thing with a player from a CFG club, maybe to cover the Bravo issue.
Hell the BBC would have it as the main item on News at Ten, Sunday Supplement would go into meltdown and questions would be asked in Parliment. It is this sort of thing that really pisses me off, the Football League are supposed to be the guardians of the game and yet they never seem to be around when shit like this happens. Maybe the player didn't want to move to a different country, what choice did he have, suddenly out of work and looking for a new club in a country that is on its knees so clubs would not be queueing up to sign him
The whole thing stinks but as usual it is ignored...............unless it is us.
