Just been sent this by a rag from work, wound me right up the ****. Fair play to the lads in 537 who stood up to the 2 rags celebrating after their 3rd

He does know that the rags had empty seats too right?

19 league titles and only a 5minute walk to the ground rather than long car journey yet they still couldnt sell out

i quote this from another thread .......

"Despite the media propoganda nonsense about the rags selling out their tickets , there were a noticably large number of empty seats dotted throughout their end"

Despite all their honours for almost the last generation, they still bang on about attendances; it's their obsession. On the one hand it's a bit embarrassing for us but equally it seems they're not the top draw they used to be - even at Wembley.

Time and time again I've flagged up their "crowds" at a time when their ground had much the same capacity as ours; 21 years ago when Ferguson had been there three or four years, look at some of their crowds: more people saw the derby at our place than theirs, their biggest crowd was 47,000+ against Arsenal, a smattering of 30,000-35,000s, while their smallest was 29,000+ against Wimbledon and it's been suggested that was fiddled upwards! This was mere weeks before they won the FA Cup - their first major trophy under Ferguson - hence the reason why I chose this particular season, although they did finish 13th in the League.

No rag will ever believe that this actually happened and most will call you a liar, so you might want to cut out and keep this and carry it on your person at all times...
