I read that and after the headline "Joe Hart: Manchester City keeper dropped for Norwich game" it goes on to say "but it is understood that Hart has been dropped".
It may be true but they really don't have inside information.

Yeah he would have done that for the FA Cup final if anytime.

I am afraid it was Joe who did that for the FA Cup Final.

asked for a transfer because he was dropped after playing in every round??

Oh dear, if the slaying of Hart wasn't bad enough i hope Costel doesn't read this shite...

Joe Hart dropped by City, now his replacement Pantilimon has been dropped by Romania.

Are people still believing what they read in the papers? Let's wait and see who plays today! The only quote from Pellers is that we won't know until today whose in the starting eleven......yes that's right the starting eleven! Whoever plays get behind them!!!!

I find it every interesting that our Official Website has not one mention of Joe Hart in its round up of 'What the Media says'. Every back page in the country, according to a lot of posters on here, seems to be running with the story that JH is dropped and yet it doesn't merit one mention. Interesting.

Maybe they are all in for a surprise!! Personally if I was Mr Pellegrini I would pick Joe just to show what lying/manipulating toads the media can be. Go for it Manuel, pick Joe and let's have another Joe Hart Day!!

Argh, I really can't make up my mind on this...

I've thought Pantilimon right up to yesterday, but given the opposition today and that we are a better side with Hart at his best and therefore our goal must be to get him back there, I now think we should play Joe.

The reason to drop him for this game in particular would be to 'teach him a lesson', and that's not something I think will work, or that we should do?

Even if he makes (another) mistake we should be capable of redeeming ourselves.

That said, Costel deserves a chance, but only if we truly believe he could become our number one...

Big decision for Pellegrini - not because it will affect the game today in any great way (it shouldn't?) but for his relationship with the players. Does he pick on form and make a statement that no one is undroppable, or does he continue to put his faith in Joe and earn probably an unbreakable bond with him?

It's pretty well known that he wanted to leave in the summer for more regular game time but chose to see out his contract as it makes him a more attractive signing next summer on a free, plus he lands a nice signing on bonus and better wages. It'd be stupid to give all that up now.

Indeed. The one aspect that can be handled well is securing Pants as a top draw back-up for a few years yet. What will happen with Hart is anyone's guess. Human nature cannot be predicted as many on here seem to think it can be.
