I had high hopes for the lad but he's not good enough for a top half, never mind top 4, prem club.

I do however think he's capableof the occasional top performance and I will very gladly cut myself a large slice if tonight's one of those nights.

Of course we all want nothing more for him than to be great, but he's failed to deliver a number of times.
