This decision here, by VAR, was correct.

See the stark difference in the refs hesitation to award those two pens? What happened to the rule that invovled fouls that continue into the box? I assume that's been scrapped then as that very clearly fell into that category.

That’s a penalty. Defenders foot us on the line and the contact continues well into the box.
