Trippier did that last season and got his red card rescinded for a much worse challenge. Caicedo got away with hundreds of these tackles. Where is the consistency?

There was far less force in the Trippier challenge. I doubt it would have been overturned this season though as VAR don’t do anything bar offsides and handballs.
