Premier League (midweek) Games 5/6/7 December '23

So, when are our fans going to realise that you can have the odd few games in a season (yes, 7 or 8) and it doesn't define your final PL position. Clubs are dropping points against teams that you wouldn't expect - no shit sherlock, this happens 'EVERY SEASON'. Last year we had most of the ex-players (now so-called pundits) predicting that our honeymoon period was over. This was nothing more than the media panicking, as the narrative to keep people entertained is that each game must be a win all or lose all match. You beat the Champions and you are automatically title contenders. This isn't boxing FFS. The PL is a long hard slog - every season. This one ain't gonna be any different. Don't let the media hype carry you away on a path of negativity. Those who fall for it almost every season on this forum cannot expect their historic comments to be forgotten. A clock that doesn't work is bound to be correct twice a day, however that clock is still deemed as useless in the grand scheme of things.

We all have to remember every team wants to beat the Treble Winners which is of course Manchester City which has a great sound to it. Drink it in and enjoy.
Your right but villa hardy played us like it was there cup final the other night tbh, I've watched them a few times this season and they've been very good so beating us with there 22 shots to our 2 wasn't just a fluke tbh. I'm suprised we only lost by 1 lol.
