Range Cooker

Has anyone ever bought a freestanding range cooker? Ours has packed in and so we need a new one but there are so many options it's a little scary, especially when you consider extraction hoods too.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cookers are pretty easy to repair mate. Unless it’s proper old. We’ve got a SMEG which is brilliant, had a rangemaster before which looked the part but was shit quality - I constantly needed to fix it - the stoves we had before that was excellent.

If you’re changing cooker now, I’d definitely go gas to keep your costs down.

I bought a grade C refurbed belling under counter double oven. Checked all the photos and description of damage which was supposed to be a few scratches. £159 plus £10 postage. It arrived, I unpacked it and not a single mark on it, it looked perfect, works perfect. Same oven is £550 on AO and Curry's.

They have loads of graded and refurbed range cookers, mostly stoves and belling for well over half the RRP. Just make sure to check all the photos and description of damage on the item you choose
