Real Madrid post match post mortem

It’s sad to see blues turning into Yoonited and Madrid fans. We do not have a God given right to win every game. Let alone knock out games. They got lucky. First goal was lucky. And our best players went missing. You are talking about human beings not robots. Madrid did not even look as if they are good enough to win it. Just it was their day. 3 shots hit the post, 2 sitters missed, the penalty from Silva. Sometimes the football Gods do not shine on you. But Madrid parking the bus against us tells you the level are at.

Foden was shocking tonight and that hasn't been missed by anyone. I don't know what the solution is but we can't continue playing Haaland when he doesn't turn up against any decent side
Here lies the problem.

Foden wasn't shocking, he just wasn't in the game for an hour, Bernardo too tbh but they were much better late on and during ET.

Shocking is making numerous basic errors and giving goals away, he didn't do that.

And for all those calling for Haaland to be dropped, for who exactly. Alvarez isn't exactly ripping up trees.

Just one of those classic glorious exits we do so well. RM were lucky as fuck and they know it.

Roll on Saturday.

Not enough power tonight, Real could handle that same same. We have to change our pace with more aggression.

Can we please stop high crosses and high corners?
We have no player for headers.

Instead, can we please shoot more from outside the box?
Thanks.

Ah, and for penalties: give it a sharp go near post. Always.

Shame. But ok. Winning the PL alone would be suoerb.

Na it was loud as hell today. Look it’s football KDB missed a sitter. Foden missed a sitter. Silva wanted to be too clever. All humans it happens it’s not that deep. We are not entitled to success and they probably do not even go on to win it.
Spot on. Nothing wrong with the atmosphere at all and on any other day we win that easy 3/4-1. Sometimes we have to take it on the chin.

Do we have a set piece coach?

if we do they are stealing a living.
I agree with you on this a bit of variety might have swung the tie in our favour but that is down to Pep's overall playing style and can't really fault him on what he has achieved at City.
