It’s the small things that refs do that aren’t too obvious so they don’t stand out, as City fans we see it week in week out This is the ref who thought it was a foul on Allison and robbed us of a win Last night a much worse foul on Trafford no foul Tonight his inconsistency stood out a mile, as others have posted above, a foul by a City player is a booking the same by a Newcastle player no booking

Had a £5 on Rodri committing 2+ fouls and booked with Burn committing 2+ fouls and booked. He did all he could but it wasn't good enough to stop the Champions taking all 3 points. You have to do it even more obvious to beat us,

We have been reffed differently since Webb took chargeNot booking Dan Burn today was an absolute joke, as was the three additional minutes. Shocking performance all round from Kavanagh. It certainly seems like we’re being reffed differently from other teams.

The booking was a joke, but there weren’t many stoppages in the second half, were there? Felt like they were time wasting a fair bit towards the end. Yeah, maybe so, but it was never going to be loads. We get less because we don’t collapse for team talks every few minutes.Felt like they were time wasting a fair bit towards the end. Ultimately worked in our favour anyway.

Thought it was rather strange that he was chosen as the referee for today’s fixture. Quite sure he was in charge of the League Cup tie up there this season, the second half of which he allowed to descend into an incredibly physical game and a bit of a kicking match. Got the sense that he was prepared to let things go over the top again at the close of the second half.
