Ref Watch City Games - 2023/24

The Bernardo clip to stop their break with Rodri ahead of the ball was the most obvious card but by that time he'd dug himself a hole with what he's allowed them away with. Same as Anfield last season, if you manage the game in that fashion it benefits the side camping their third and kicking lumps far more. Havertz straightened his leg and raised his foot to make sure he nailed Ortega, Var ignoring stuff like this isn;t right.

Absolutely right about the challenge on Ortega. Neville giving it "he's got every right to go for that" - well he has yeah, but he also needs to be carded if he gets there late and goes over the ball into Ortega's shoulder. Minimum should have been yellow.

Sky managed that game today. No way can Super Sunday be ruined by 11 v 10. Pigmol are told not to book players as you may have to send them off later. Taylors overall game was good so his refusal to book 5 or 6 Arsenal players has to be down to an outside influence. (Sky) and that is corruption.

Stonewall yellah! But the Alty Tit had set out his stall by then and so it was only ever gonna be a tuppenny ha'penny fart-arsed technical foul that proved he'd brought the fuckin' cards with him.

It let the game flow is BS!!!

I’m sorry but it does the opposite, it encourages more fouls and also doesn’t have that sense of jeopardy a person on a yellow where they can’t challenge in the same way.

It’s ridiculous to decide one day just to ignore rules.

Madness!!

Overall he wasn’t bad in calling them etc. but this no booking is crazy and helped make it 0-0

Predictably appalling.

If Erling makes that same challenge they did on a keeper at any away ground he receives an instant red card.

Agree, those days are gone, that approach now has the opposite effect & slows the game down.

Compare it to the yellow Rodri got at Anfield - it changed his game completely. And all that Neville bullshit that you can’t give a yellow in the first couple of minutes of a game (Jesus on Bernie).
