I've just read a piece by Rob on Bleacher Report and I am staggered by one of the most glaring omissions there has EVER been in a piece written by a Blue.

You mean Mike Doyle? You're spot on. Not skipper for all that long - between when Marsh left towards the end of 1975 and when he lost his regular place in 1977, IIRC - but probably the best of my time (been watching City since '75).

Exactly. In my eyes at last 3 on that list are not fit to lace the mans boots.

There is one of the captains missing on the slide show link i viewed, it only went up to 7 of 8. Maybe the no.8 is Doyle ? It certainly should be!
