Rug from Maine Road?

I was asked via my facebook about this and responded earlier. Yes, it definitely looks like the carpet that was in the Main Stand upstairs reception area after it was refitted c.1994. If anyone went up there they'll remember that there was a semi-circular seat which had a bust of Joe Mercer on (in the MCFC collection still) and in front of that large seated area was the above crest. I think it was sold at the auction in 2003.

Not sure what I'm doing with it yet mate it is a bit dirty so I'm trying to find a specialist rug cleaner that can sort it also I'm not entirely sure what it is worth that's why I'm trying to find out more info but if i do sell it I'll give you list it on here first
