Talk in there of Putin letting the attack happen, but no suggestion that he might have authorised it. It’s got to be a least a possibility.

Because it's a ratio and not total numbers this graph does not mean Russia is losing more vehicles. It also could be they don't have much access to functional tanks at this stage or refuse to use their tanks in their attacks.

Oh they are losing a lot more in pure numbers as well.
I'm fairly sure it's Russia exploiting the Ukraines ammo shortage to gain more ground - and losing Russian meat is no object in this respect.

No but a few former diplomats with experience in the region have ridiculed the suggestion that Putin staged the attack, especially as he spent the pre-election period saying he was the only candidate who would keep Russia safe.
The other candidates were unavailable for comment due to being dead.

What difference does it make what he said during the ‘election’ now it’s over?
