Seems like there were a few on here that like/appreciate his music.

His new album is out this week. I think it's very good - one of the best of 2014. Other opinions?

And I noticed he is playing in Manchester on Sept. 24. Sort of jealous as I would like to see him on this tour.

I've never managed to get into anything of his other than Gold and Heartbreaker. He's clearly very talented but I often feel he has no quality control; his output is wildly inconsistent.

The Destroyer sessions is my favourite of his output, i find that I listen to individual songs these days.
Whiskeytown's "Stranger's Almanac" is a great record.
I was at the Liverpool Royal Court gig when he smashed his wrist.

Summer of 69 was a good tune.

I'm going to listen to it in the car on the way home.

He's never really hit the heights of his first 2 solo albums. Heartbreaker was great and Come Pick Me Up the standout track.

I saw him at The Academy on the Heartbreaker tour and he was excellent, on for ages.
